It seems like this uncommon 300 edition white vinyl has been counterfeited - Ebay's seen loads sold recently by just 2 vendors - CAUTION!
LP1's audio quality is quite poor. It's got excessive sibilance and even some distortion, like there's a bunch of dust on the needle. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe I got a faulty pressing? LP2's sound is much improved, but it's still not great.
Awesome sounding album, but the final song on Side 3 (Troubles) is pretty messed up.

Songs of Innocence might just be U2's most debated album. It faced issues right from the beginning, with the free giveaway by Apple and U2 sparking controversy, and the album art leading some not-so-bright folks to think it was all about gay love. It's a pretty good album, with some truly standout ideas. It might not crack their top 5, but it's definitely not their weakest effort. Most bands would be thrilled to have an album this solid.
