Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
Sonido increíble, vinilos de 140 o 160 gramos, pero que sigo escuchando a menudo y sin ningún problema de desgaste. Technics SL1200-Mk5 - Ortonfon Concorde Music Black
Did I somehow get the incorrect download card? Like, Torn Down: All Messed Up instead of just Messed Up?
I'm right there with the other reviewers, the vinyl noise is downright awful, and it's especially bad between songs when it sounds like the needle's gonna break apart.
Alas, I've become yet another vinyl enthusiast who's ended up with a subpar pressing. Sound-wise, this one's decent, with good dynamics and balance, and the mix is top-notch—I've got the 1990 CD to compare it to. But, there are already a few loud pops on "Lullaby," and "Fascination Street" isn't much better. Here I am, sending another disc back. It's like every third record is flawed. I can't wrap my head around why people these days have such a lousy work ethic and seem to embrace such low standards. It's like they're living by the motto, "My mistakes today are tomorrow's unemployment." Because, mark my words, I'll eventually hop off the vinyl train and catch the digital express. And that's saying something, considering I've been spinning vinyl since the '70s and know a thing or two about records and pressing quality. It's like in so many areas of life, people are stubbornly sawing off the branch they're sitting on, a stubbornness that sometimes reminds me of old age.
The vinyl pic has a bit of a noisy sound, but it looks quite fun :/
