I'm really enjoying this album. The CD quality is solid, yet I find myself leaning towards the vinyl half speed edition just a tad more. The live rendition is an absolute essential!

This pressing is flawless for my copy, it plays smoothly without any hiss and the sound quality is phenomenal. The 2 for 1 deal featuring both the live and studio album is an incredible package, possibly The Cure's best since Disintegration? I might be exaggerating, but I'm already in love with this album after just a short time. It's an instant classic, and I'm thrilled to own the live version too, as it has a unique sound and I can't decide which one I prefer.
This live rendition is way better than the studio one, hands down. You get a pure, no-frills performance of the songs, none of that "let's revisit cold wave" nonsense. I never really cared for the studio version, it just didn't hit the same as the live ones floating around online. I'm stoked I grabbed this 2 vinyl set, the clear one might never see the turntable, but the black live version? It's gonna get plenty of spins, that's for sure.
