VMP's nailed it again with Usher's stuff, twice in a row! Here's hopin' 8701's next 🤞
The audio quality is fantastic and the packaging is top-notch, just like any other VMP release. But I'm not a huge fan of the re-recorded tracks and they don't seem to match Usher's usual style. I wish they'd just stuck to one disc and dropped the price by ten bucks.
This is a really enjoyable, well-produced edition. I'm not entirely convinced it required 4 sides, but the extra takes on this record — particularly the instrumentals — are a great addition.

Quality is pretty poor. Side one's got tons of crackling, sounds all muffled, and the hiss is just dreadful. I'm starting to see a pattern with these splatter pressings.
