Great quality pressing. Somehow makes it warmer, even though it was always digital. Good depth and the bass is strong.
My version sounds awesome, I'd defiantly suggest it, but u might get a bad batch from a launch
Sound feels dull, Enjoy The Silence misses the impact and vibrancy I recall from the old cassette tapes. I don't play this one often. I'm not confident about suggesting this SACD/DVD-V version.
Amazing audio quality on this cassette. The ones from the late 80s to the 90s had sound that could go toe-to-toe with CDs from that time.
This reissue's mastering is absolutely killer. It's so rich, punchy, crisp, and deep that I just want to keep turning up the volume every time I play it. I've been really impressed with the sound quality of these DM remasters, and the packaging is pretty cool too - that matte finish on the insert is a nice touch. There's a bit of light surface noise that you can notice during quieter parts, but no loud crackles or pops, and it's not distracting at all. My system is pretty sensitive, so I'm sure if I used one of my less picky styli, it would sound perfect. UPDATE: The sound quality is just phenomenal, and if I boost the bass a bit on my receiver, this album can really make the house shake. My only issue is that there's consistent light surface noise throughout both sides, and even after multiple wet cleans, it's still there. It's not too distracting, but it's more noticeable at higher volumes and during quieter passages.
