Finally, the day has arrived! I've been hunting for this disc for what feels like an eternity, and today, someone reached out to me via text. Now, it's on its way from Ukraine to Russia, and finally, to me! And get this, I'm the only one on Discogs who has this version. Yeah, sure, others claimed they had it, but they were either offline for ages or admitted they didn't have it. Here's the kicker: it's from a niche genre in Russia, so it didn't sell well. Universal Music Russia knew this and printed a tiny batch. Plus, if you run a music store and order discs from Universal, you've got to pick your music genres for your subscription. Spoiler alert: no one picked EDM, so I'm guessing under 500 copies were made, maybe even fewer than 300. And let's not forget, 2013 was when Russia started ditching CDs, so sales tanked. Oh, and there's a typo on the tracklist (Shame on You), a secret bonus track just for Russia (EDOM), and of course, the iconic paper OBI strip. It's heartwarming to know one of the best electronic albums was released in Russia. Also, Russian licenses were a hard sell due to rumors of low quality (which is bogus, by the way). Turns out, Russians themselves made this disc so rare. Only me and a few friends are into them in 2025 (!). I've scoured every website mentioning this Russian license, even checked Ozon's warehouses – nada. Then, about two months ago, I reached out to Discogs users who listed this disc, and around 10 people responded, all saying they sold it back in 2014. So, it seems the others haven't logged in for a decade, meaning they probably don't have it either. There's only one photo of the disc online, taken by someone who sold it back in 2013. And yes, this isn't a joke – I've been searching for this disc for a year, ever since I started collecting and truly appreciating music. Then, yesterday, Daria from Ukraine messaged me on Discogs and said she has it (after two months of radio silence). It's driving me crazy because on Discogs, I'm the only one who has it, and I've been searching for a whole year! Daria told me she bought it from a shop called 1C Interest, which had some rare Russian releases back in the day. Sadly, it closed between 2014-2016. It should arrive in a week.
I'm not so sure about the 180gr vinyl claim. It feels more like 160gr to me. The quality's good, surface noise is low, but it's not quite 180gr.
Picked this up for no cost during the SOV deal and it's fantastic, truly a steal! I'd completely forgotten how amazing this album is.
this album is really good, absolutly worth the purchase
This is a knockoff, unofficial version, don't waste your money. It's put out by a shady, pirating group.
