Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
My version has a clear crackle near the finish of side b. Still, fantastic record.
I was a bit anxious about this purchase considering the negative feedback on prior pressings, but I decided to give it a shot when Urban Outfitters discounted this version. My copy is fairly hushed, even before any initial cleaning. I must admit, it's also a tad sonically subdued overall, meaning I found myself cranking the volume more than usual compared to other records. But all in all, I reckon this one's worth a go if you've been holding out for a decent vinyl version of this album.
Purchased this brand new and still sealed, but like others have mentioned, the vinyl was quite grimy even after I gave it a good clean. It keeps skipping, which is really disappointing. The quality control on this pressing is not great. It's a shame for such a lovely album by Feist.
Gorgeous sounding record. No crackling on my copy - The Park truly feels like being by a campfire.
The Urban Outfitters sticker edition of this record is terrible. It's got a factory flaw. Wiping it down didn't help at all with the new album. Huge skips and pops throughout. Had to take it back to the vinyl shop. Searching for another copy now. Steer clear!
