incredible show by everyone (rivers, holland, altschul), it doesn't even seem like a trio, so much is happening... the sound is gorgeous on this recording and sam rivers just shows off his incredible range on 4 different instruments: soprano, flute (incredible), piano (wow), and finally tenor (probably the best track here but it's tough to pick since they're all amazing!)... true journey.
