The pressing is quite bad. Pitch problems and loud noise. But the music is awesome!
There's a bit of scratchiness towards the end of each side on LP 1, but it doesn't ruin the listening experience. You can hear some minor surface noise during the quieter sections.
Got this today and I'm quite pleased with it. The record is perfectly flat with just a few tiny pops. The packaging is really nice, with the right sleeves and a cool gatefold. I feel like it's a bit over-compressed and sounds a tad flat, but it's not that big of a deal. The songs on this album are awesome, so I can overlook the mastering and just enjoy the music. I'd definitely recommend it.
Arrived in a filthy state straight from the factory. Requires multiple deep cleanings to avoid sounding horribly distorted. Even after that, vocals and occasionally guitars still sound distorted, sometimes quite severely. One record was extremely warped and I had to swap it out. It's a fantastic album, it's a pity this pressing was released in this condition.
This pressing isn't one I'd suggest. There's a bunch of surface noise even after giving it a clean. It's certainly not a great pressing. It looks nice, though, and the packaging is top-notch at least.
