This album is absolutely fantastic. It truly brings it all together.
I own both the original version and the 2010 movie reissue. They're pressed using the same molds and the audio is nearly the same. The matrix number is identical - the Mov 180g repress feels like it has better pressing quality to me.
This reissue outshines all the rest. It's incredibly dynamic, impactful, and crystal clear, and my copy is super quiet too. It's a real gem to come by these days, but if you ever spot it, GRAB IT – this is the definitive version!
Wow, this remaster is absolutely fantastic! The sound quality is incredibly crisp and the 'wide' sound is just amazing. Even though it's not the first pressing, it's still an excellent one that you'll want to listen to over and over again. Highly recommended! The only thing that really bothers me is the inner sleeve doesn't have an antistatic bag. Why?! It's just sitting there in the cardboard sleeve. How much does a proper package cost??
This album features some pretty run-of-the-mill hard rock tunes. It's not terrible, but would either of us really want to put this on repeat? Probably not. The tracks here are quite a departure from Aerosmith's earlier work. That's not to say it's either good or bad, just distinct. It's got a more pop-friendly vibe, with a funkier edge than your typical hard rock. The artwork inside the booklet is kinda neat. So, unless you're a die-hard Aerosmith fan, you might wanna skip this one. There's a few standout tracks though, like "Taste Of India," "The Farm," and "Attitude Adjustment.
