The pressing sounds fantastic, but I'm confused as to why it's labeled a misprint?
In my view, the audio quality of this solid blue and solid pink misprint edition outshines the "fixed" re-press with the white splatter variant. The vinyl is nearly perfect, with zero hiss or crackle. It boasts a superior soundstage compared to the CD and digital versions. The bonus 4 Minutes promo remixes LP, though pressed on standard black vinyl, doesn't quite match the main album's audio quality. It's clean, but it lacks the depth, bass, and subtleties of the solid blue/pink release. The white splatter version, on the other hand, comes across as a tad muddy, perhaps due to the higher mix of colored vinyl pellets or the new pressing plant Madonna's team used after the two initial mishaps at Rainbo.
I'm craving the album "Hard Candy" due to the concept of candies.
The initial misprint featuring the solid blue and pink discs has a slightly improved sound compared to this white splatter edition. Both versions sound great, but the clarity and bass seem a bit more refined on the solid blue/pink misprint. I suspect this is due to it being a first pressing or perhaps the pressing plant. That said, this version is still a solid choice, as it sounds better than the CD.
Fantastic version! Exceptional quality! Both the packaging and audio quality are flawless.
