This album sounds absolutely fantastic, even better than another Second Records LP I own. The record is incredibly quiet after a good clean. I wish they had replicated the original cover entirely (both front and back), but even official CD versions don't do that, so... It doesn't sound quite as good as an official pressing, but for a casual listener, it's a fantastic option at this price. Plus, the vinyl has a nice color!
This vinyl is quite thin at 140grams, but it's a fantastic pressing, very quiet with a wide dynamic range. Unfortunately, the distortions on the louder piano sections remain, as they're present on the original master tapes. It's such a shame because this early album is one of the best Bill Evans has ever created. Even the highly praised 45 rpm version from Analogue Productions has these same distortions. So, it seems there's no way to experience this jazz masterpiece in pristine sound quality. I'm truly disheartened by this reality...

Very good sounding press, no noise and a nice wide image.
This album is absolutely fantastic. The pressing is superb. It sounds amazing on my tube setup… VPI / Soundsmith
