Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
This record looks fantastic but sounds terrible...
This ain't no show from '98, it's from that Voodoo Lounge tour. Not real sure about the city, though.
The pressings are flat and the vinyl is beautifully clear. There's not a hint of surface noise. You can distinctly hear each vocalist coming from different directions. The bass drum hits with a deep thump. The rhythm and lead guitars are well-separated in the mix. The piano and organ are crystal clear. I'm baffled by the negative comments out there. For fairness, I've reviewed it on my second turntable. Linn Basik/Akito/Supex SD900-Super/Ortofon ST-7/Musical Fidelity V-LPS ii/Bel Canto eVo2i/Shahinian Arc. This package is highly recommended.(All the info is etched in the grooves. You just gotta extract it.)
