Awful loud pressing. It's getting returned. I'd rather use the digital file instead.
Bad pressing. Lots of crackling sounds. Perhaps due to cheap vinyl?
Among the finest albums from this label, and my personal favorite by Alva Noto, I was eagerly anticipating its arrival in the mail. Unfortunately, the terrible pressing completely ruined the experience. All four sides are so badly scratched that it's impossible to go more than five seconds without a massive pop or skip disrupting the playback. And don't even get me started on the sleeve, which fell apart—probably due to using the wrong or expired glue or something. But that's just a small detail showing how much they care about their products these days. It's sold, so why bother about what the customer thinks, right? I guess the joke's on me, but I'm not wrecking my cartridge with this piece of junk.
