This collection has me feeling a bit torn. The packaging is top-notch, and the music choices are spot on, but there's a clear issue with surface noise and incomplete pressing on every disc - something I've noticed a lot lately with newer classical releases, particularly from DG - that really takes away from the enjoyment. I really hope they start putting as much effort into the pressing quality and QC as Blue Note does with their Tone Poet series.
