Got this for Christmas. The giver found it on Discogs, listed as the usual black version, so imagine my shock when I saw it was pink. I won't lie, it's kinda weird to own this.
An official re-release would've earned jpeg and deathbomb a ton of cash, it's a real shame it didn't happen
I could just be over the moon about finally owning this album on vinyl, but this record sounds phenomenal
man, this album sounds so crisp, absolutely no hiss or anything. i really dig that. i think this version is only sold at his shows with vince staples and i heard they're only pressing like 20-40 copies per gig. definitely grab it if you can. it's a killer pressing and that pink vinyl is hella nice ~
This album's got some serious bass, and I'm all about it. That first song's got some irritating static, so I usually give it a pass. But the rest? They sound pretty darn good. I've even heard this mix's better than that official ID pressing. Update: after spinning this a bunch, I'm noticing there's quite a bit of surface noise goin' on, both sides, all the way through. But around the 5th track, it starts to chill out and basically disappears. This record's mixed beautifully, and I'm loving the bass. But man, that surface noise and static can be a real pain.
