Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
Unbelievable! I’ve got 50 year old records that are in better shape than this brand new vinyl. Doesn’t seem to impact the sound, but it’s a nightmare when you first open it! What’s going on with Quality Control at Blue Note? Apart from that, awesome selection of musicians and tracks on this album that make me want to check out more! Mobley and Hubbard are always fantastic together and with Chambers, it’s a winner!
Mobley's latest is an absolute must-have. This album features a couple of tracks that perfectly capture that signature 'Mobley vibe'—you'll instantly recognize them upon listening. A true gem for any Jazz vinyl enthusiast! It's pressed on 180g heavyweight vinyl, mastered by BG. The packaging includes the usual top-notch Blue Note Classic sleeve, with the record housed in an archival paper/polyethylene inner sleeve, and a Blue Note Classic hype sticker on the box.
Audio seems duller than other 75s. I'm optimistic they'll upgrade this one when it comes out on Classic or Tone Poet by KPG.
Got this fresh but sadly, it's a bad copy with groove noise and scratches from rough handling.Proceed with care.
Got this fresh out of the box but sadly, it's a bad copy with groove noise and scratches from being handled roughly. Proceed with care when buying.
