Great quality pressing, excellent dynamics..Zero surface noize, total silence! I'm really pleased with it.
Superb quality, quite amazed. This is definitely one of the better Muse pressings I have, right up there with 2nd Law.
Muse – The Resistance (2009) With The Resistance, Muse don’t merely aim for the heavens—they incite a cosmic rebellion. This is the essence of dystopia transformed into a symphony, of Orwellian unease directed through Queen-like aspirations and sci-fi magnificence. It’s not merely a rock record; it’s a cinematic revolt accompanied by thunderous guitar riffs, arpeggiated synths, and Matt Bellamy’s dramatic wail. From the relentless defiance of “Uprising” to the expansive, cosmic romance of “Resistance,” Muse blend glam, prog, and electro with apocalyptic intensity. There’s unease in every rhythm, liberation in every refrain. “United States of Eurasia” plunges into Bond-theme drama, while “Undisclosed Desires” sees them slipping into synth-pop shadows with alluring skill. And then arrives the Exogenesis Symphony—a three-part, orchestral finale that dares to ponder: what if humanity could begin anew among the stars? It’s outrageous. It’s ingenious. It’s Muse at their most unbridled and operatic, converting existential angst into elevated art.The Resistance is a magnificent, defiant spectacle—a battle cry adorned in lasers and falsetto, where love is insurrection, and rock is revolution. It's the soundtrack to a future that refuses to fade away quietly.
This press is pretty darn good! The sound is warm and pleasant. The overall presentation is outstanding, and the artwork truly stands out. I grabbed this one at Shuga Records in Chicago for just $37, and it was absolutely worth every penny.
This LP has a solid pressing, the audio's a tad warm but it's a vibe I'm feeling.
