When it comes to compilation albums, this one's a tough act to follow. I've got pretty much every main Sinatra record, and I find myself reaching for this one just as often. It's always ranked super low on everyone's Sinatra lists, which completely baffles me. "Tell Her" kicking off side A is brilliant, and of course, "Luck Be a Lady" closing side B is worth the price alone... I think this is the first time that track appeared on one of his albums. All in all, it's a great blend of lively swing tunes and a couple of romantic ballads. You don't usually get that mix in his non-compilation albums, where it's either wallow in booze sadness or party in the city fun. "Frankly," I'm still on the hunt for a bad Sinatra record. His worst ones are still incredible. Grab them all.
