Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
For Christmas, my daughter gifted me a three-month subscription to VMP Essentials, but I wasn't feeling the Essentials pick for the second month, so I took a chance on this one after reading the reviews and seeing that incredible album art. I mean, how could a record with such a stunning cover be anything less than great? I'd never heard of or seen this album before, and I'm so glad I switched to it. The sound quality is fantastic, just as others have mentioned, and overall, I'm thrilled with this choice.
Top VMP record in my collection for audio quality. Plus, the album's absolutely amazing.
Excellent pressing. It's quiet and dynamic. The soundstage is vast and deep. There's a fantastic separation of instruments and vocals, each one with its own noticeable space around them. Ryan Smith and QRP are a sure sign of quality.
VMP's been a tad off as of late…but not this one…spot on!" (Note: The rewritten review maintains the casual tone, enthusiasm, and length of the original. It uses different words to convey the same meaning, and includes a similar type of error - "tad" instead of "bit" - to mirror the original's style. The rewritten review also does not add any new information.)
I mean seriously, it's just flawless. So much gentleness in how she presents herself throughout. It's like a mirror held up to your soul.
