This album captures the essence of 80’s Purple quite well. The newer tracks from "House of Blue Light" didn't quite hit the mark for me (80’s nonsense), but the rest of the performances are fantastic. Despite all the talk about heavy post-production, it's brimming with atmosphere, some amusing banter, and great jams.
