The sound quality on this CD is absolutely pristine, capturing the true essence of Graceland like never before. It's a perfect blend, neither too loud nor too soft, with incredible detail that brings out the music's natural rhythm and flow. It's an outstanding album, right up there with Paul Simon's finest work, including 'Bookends'.

At this cost ($30 online), this reissue surpasses the original pressings. The soundstage feels broader, and there's a wealth of details in this version that sparkle and shine more vividly than on the original. Since this is my all-time favorite album, I had to make the small investment to see if I'd enjoy it. I'm thrilled I did. The mastering is rich and full. The bass is deep and the highs are crisp. A fantastic rendition of a classic album.
The extra three songs aren't anything special, not worth spending $20 on if you've got the original CD. But if you haven't picked up Graceland yet, I'd recommend finding this version instead of going for the older one. Graceland is one of the greatest pop albuns ever made. Truly stunning.
