At a certain point, Mario's "Let Me Love You" was everywhere, but "Here I Go Again" didn't quite hit the same spot and might've hinted at his brief time in the UK charts. I'm a fan of the glam hip-hop and R&B scene from the mid-2000s, though I'd probably place it in the same category as my love for pop-punk and emo from that era. It's all about nostalgia for me, so I only have strong feelings for tracks I remember, and sadly, "Here I Go Again" isn't one of them. In fact, this might be the first time I'm really hearing it. The production by Ron "NEFF-U" Feemstar is clean, though I'm not familiar with him, except for his work on Jamie Foxx's "Wish U Were Here," which I'm a big fan of. Beyond that, there's not much to say. It lacks the catchy hooks of his previous hit and just blends into the background of other R&B tracks from that time. The second track, which is basically the B-side, is a remix. It's not bad, it works as a remix, but it's just as forgettable as the main track and doesn't bring anything new to the table.
