Incredible album! The pressing is top-notch too, Pure Pleasure usually nails it.
The album's audio quality is fantastic. The mastering is spot-on - the soundstage is incredible. The production, well, it's Quincy Jones, so it's top-notch. Benson + Q + Temperton - you just can't go wrong with that combo. Even after all these years, it's still such a great feel-good record.
It seems like they went a bit overboard with the noise reduction in this remaster. It's lacking some spark and high-end detail. It's still listenable if you tweak the EQ, but I usually prefer to listen with a flat response.
Exceptional pressing and mastering job here. The quietness and dynamics are truly outstanding.
This is totally demo standard. I found it for $5.99 at my neighborhood record shop. Be sure to hunt for the KENDUN version. They had six copies, but only one had the KENDUN mark.
