I've purchased three separate copies, THREE, and each one has arrived with scratches, it's absolutely heartbreaking. By some stroke of luck, one of them only has a single scratch and the rest of the record is flawless, I suppose I can tolerate it.
7 Words- fantastic!! Anthem... ! Perfect song for fall-days... an the whole year.
The audio is alright, it's fairly quiet and not awful, but it's not great either. I'm just happy it's steady, which is the least you'd expect, but with the current state of vinyl quality control, a record without pitch issues feels like a treat I suppose.
I'm really enjoying this album! Though, the vinyl copy I have… well, it's not perfect, there's some skips and it crackles a bit.
I'm still baffled that "Titanic Rising" is more critically praised and loved than "Front Row Seat to Earth". Not that I'm unhappy about it—I'm thrilled Natalie's finally getting the recognition she's long deserved. However, to me, "Front Row" is undoubtedly Weyes' masterpiece and is strangely overlooked. With its profoundly moving songwriting, unity, and emotional resonance, I can't help but be captivated and immersed in this music. I'm sure Natalie's tired of the Karen Carpenter comparisons by now, but on this album, she unmistakably captures the essence of what made Karen a once-in-a-lifetime artist: the vocal and songwriting talent, along with the emotional depth to take us on a spiritual voyage.
