The King of Pop delivers a strong showing on this album, crafted during his ambitious early years as he sought to step out from the shadow of the Jackson 5. Standout tracks include Ben, My Girl, and You Can Cry on My Shoulder. It might not reach the heights of Thriller, but it's a charming and tuneful record that captures the essence of 1970s Motown.
This is such an awesome album! I gotta admit, it's a bit harder to find compared to others like "Off The Wall", "Thriller", and "Bad". Most folks only know the title song "Ben", which is a pretty good tune overall. But there are so many other amazing tracks on here! My absolute favorite is "Greatest Show On Earth". Though, honestly, every track is fantastic.

The rendition of My Girl is quite vibrant, yet for my part, this album is all about Shoo Be Doo Da Day. Turn up the volume and enjoy!
