This album sounds amazing and features several incredible tracks. Perhaps there are a few too many songs, but I've always been a Rod Stewart fan and this one brings back some wonderful memories. I still recall the diner where I was having breakfast when I first heard "This" on the radio and immediately had to buy the CD. It's such a gorgeous love song. Rod delivers a flawless rendition of Tom Petty's "Leave Virginia Alone," which, as far as I remember, was an extra track from 'Wildflowers'. "The Downtown Lights" follows a year after Annie Lennox's fantastic version on 'Medusa'. It's not a contest, but hers definitely outshines Rod's.
