Time slipped by, and I just wanted to offload this item, which was somehow delivered perfectly - too heavy, too Boris, too something else, I thought. I'm so glad I didn't do that and would recommend this to anyone right now. Boris can be droney but not always; Merzbow can be droney but usually not entirely; this meeting of minds is droney (but far from totally) and utterly devastating. Over the guitar-vs.-stack clash, strange noises like bird cages being slammed (probably opened given Masami's feelings, but it sounds like being shut, and forever), leading into full "jams" which at points are almost reminiscent of acts like Golden Earring or Hawkwind or whatever, even at moments sounding like a bad tape recording of String Cheese Incident. A slash of an open hand across ringing open strings into a brutal death rhythm followed and betrayed directly by a riff but fallen immediately again. Obscure vocals that might as well be sandpaper on a contact mic. Big something, big metal or thrash or noise to most likely, big something, whatever. XL: Extra Large.
This is certainly lofi, it's fantastic if you're into heavy rocks 1 and wanna listen to some awesome live versions of tracks with wild noise thrown in by merzbow. If Boris ain't really your thing, this might not be your cup of tea. The pressing sounds great and I didn't have any issues with it.
We don't have a live price right now, but stock fluctuates daily. You can check for hidden stock on Amazon directly, or let us alert you as soon as it is available.
